Antonio Esfandiari vs. Ben Grundy — superstar bluff!
December 25th, 2007 | by Antoniofan |Antonio is the f**** daddy. He smelled weakness from Ben Grundy in this hand from the William Hill Poker Grand Prix Season 2 Finals, and was he ever spot on. After getting re-raised with his open-ender, he moves all-in against Grundy who actually had the best hand with his ace high — but obviously a no-brain fold for him with both players holding about the same amount of chips in the tournament…
No doubt about it: this was an all-star all-in move. No draws out there, so no reason for Grundy to put Antonio on a semi-bluff — excellent poker. I love it when I can show Antonio’s pure genious.
